Born in Vienna into one of Europe's richest families, he inherited a fortune from his father in 1913

Wittgenstein was taught by private tutors at home until he was 14 years old.

Went to Realschule Linz for 3 years

Published almost nothing during his life, but posthumously, his notes

"perhaps the most perfect example I have ever known of genius as traditionally conceived; passionate, profound, intense, and dominating" - Bertrand Russel
